This book uses common household animals ( mainly livestock and poultry) to introduce basic 

numeral concepts. In Muffet's quest for a " cheese buddy," he comes across different species of 

animals in various numbers. Children will learn numeral progressions by counting animals, recognizing 

their characteristics, as well as adding and subtracting.
